Spinal decompression DRX9000 4

A chiropractor accomplished in three weeks what the army doctors haven’t been able to do in two years.

George Kennedy

The spine is the lifeline. A lot of people should go to a chiropractor but they don’t know it.

Jack Lalanne

The nervous system holds the key to the body’s incredible potential to heal itself.

Sir Jay Holder

Chiropractic makes me feel a few inches taller each time I come out.

Christie Brinkley

Chiropractic works in harmony with the basic healing forces of the body, whereas the allopathic, western medical establishment doesn’t have nearly as holistic a vision.

How We Treat Lifestyle Injuries?

Every patient case is unique but most commonly, patients undergoing our intense DRX9000 spinal decompression treatment start feeling better after the first couple of weeks, some after the first couple of treatments, and others may not experience relief until the end of their spinal decompression treatment. Upon Dr. Koppel’s evaluation patients undergo a 6-week.

When someone starts feeling better right away, they are more likely to achieve a favorable outcome. Just because someone gets off to a slow start, doesn’t mean the treatment will not help. In fact, soreness is fairly common in the beginning and it’s not uncommon to be sore all the way through the decompression therapy, but at the same time be getting better. After all, the treatment is physical.

Spinal decompression uses mechanical traction to gently stretch the spine and all the fibrous ligaments and muscles holding everything together. During this procedure, you will lie on a special table while our traction device measures and calculates the degree and pressure at which to pull. A session typically consists of periods of decompression with a relaxation cycle in between, for a duration predetermined by Dr. Koppel.

Significant Medical Problem

Low back pain has become a significant medical problem around the world and effects 80% of us at some point in our lives. Often times episodes of back pain are recurring and more severe each time they occur. The sheer volume of individuals with chronic back pain is staggering and growing every day.

The therapy can relieve the pain associated with herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, posterior facet syndrome and radicular pain. Patients appreciate that this therapy targets the core problem and helps to heal versus masking the pain with drugs and injections.

Effective Treatment Plans

Spinal Decompression can offer a healing relief from back pain. You may want to know whether spinal decompression is the right treatment for you. If your back pain is due to sciatica, herniated disc, bulging disc, slipped disc, pinched nerve, arthritis, lumbar disorders, or chronic back pain; the answer is yes. You are probably an ideal candidate for spinal decompression. If you are suffering from pains due to causes discussed above and prefer to find a non-surgical solution to relief and heal your back pain, spinal decompression is the best solution. Spinal decompression has healed and changed lives of many patients who had given up finding a no risk and effective treatment.

Science and Facts

In a recent outcome study by T. Gionnis (submitted to the Journal of Musculoskeletal Medicine), 500 potential patients with back pain and pain radiating into the extremities were treated on the DRX 9000. With treatment success defined by a reduction of pain to 0 or 1 on the pain scale, the DRX 9000 treatment was successful for 86% of the 219 patients included in the study.

At our Naples Spinal Decompression Center we monitor how a patient feels (subjective data) and how a patient’s body is functioning (objective data) every day and direct the treatments accordingly.

About halfway through cervical decompression therapy or lumbar decompression therapy we do a re-exam and decide whether or not specific core spinal exercises and stretches should be introduced. Some patients are not ready yet.

Some patients tell us they feel “looser” or they can move better, or sleep better, or they have more energy…(in addition to less pain). We call these “signs of life” and they are a good thing.

Chronic back pain, chronic neck pain, sciatica, radiating arm pain, numbness, tingling are all signs and symptoms of nerve pressure that may be coming from disc bulges or herniated discs.

Our advice: Stay the course and let the treatment unfold. Keep your appointments. Do your exercises, participate in the home care, eat an anti-inflammatory diet and give the DRX9000 spinal decompression treatment a chance.

After a car accident, we know it can be frustrating dealing with physical pain, emotional trauma, medical bills, and lost wages. The most important you can do after a car accident is see an accident doctor immediately to begin your recovery and start the process of documenting your case so expenses will be covered by insurance.
